Agile Occupational Medicine is a leading occupational medicine group with a network of 24 clinics and one surgery center dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to businesses and their employees across California and Yuma, Arizona. We specialize in ensuring the health and well-being of workers through a range of medical services, including injury care (workers’ compensation), physical examinations (employer services), and commercial (urgent care).
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Director of Information Technology who will be responsible for providing technology vision, leadership and execution in the development and implementation of the enterprise Information Technology (IT) program. This role leads the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure, security and service delivery for a growing value-based healthcare organization. The Director of IT will be responsible for the management of all IT operations, systems, projects, and services that relate to operations.
Responsibilities:
Establishes an infrastructure program strategy and roadmap and executes at speed in order to address the scale and growth needs of the business
Establishes and maintains SLAs for the team and partners.
Monitors enterprise systems with regard to performance, reliability, capacity and execute appropriate changes as needed.
Maintain processes that are responsive to resolving user reported issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
Oversee infrastructure, security and service delivery including service desk teams, providing oversight, leadership and guidance to establish an operation that aligns with the needs of the growing enterprise
Ensure IT data security, risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity processes are aligned to best practice.
Lead strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities (vendors, partners, etc).
Govern system changes utilizing change management methodologies or framework.
Translate highly complex IT concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences; influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches.
Proactively identifies opportunities, conduct analyses, needs assessments, cost/benefit assessments and broker other IT services.
Develop a thriving team by monitoring, mentoring, directing, coaching and conducting performance reviews.
Maintain knowledge of current/emerging technologies/products related to architectural solutions.
Drives HIPAA law compliance as well as IT security doctrines and best practices. Additionally, accountable to maintain our enterprise HITRUST certification
Upholds Enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new/improved guidelines.
Reviews progress and evaluates results of all IT patches, upgrades, and changes.
Work with executives to gain understanding of current business needs and priorities.
Participate in cross-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other teams.
Knowledge of specialized healthcare software/applications desired.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a related role within the IT sector, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Demonstrated experience in maintaining and developing internal and external customer relationships at the executive level.
Ability to manage and enhance risk management strategy, policies, processes, and controls to mitigate organization exposure
Experience with project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence) and product management software.
Advanced proficiency in computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
Ability to work alone but also collaborate across groups & functions in a fast-paced setting.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn business workflows and system data flows.
Able and willing to handle multiple competing tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary range is $135,000-$150,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
