SALARY RANGE: $122,720 - $166,400 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
Responsibilities
Nokia of America Corporation, Solution Architect (Multiple Positions), Bellevue, WA . Perform Cloud and Network Services (CNS) to provide support for Nokia customer specific solutions for 5G Core Networks including element configuration design, custom development, and delivery. Transform 5G core monolithic VNFs (Virtual networking elements) into CNFs(Cloud Native Functions). Perform microservices based architecture and provide CI/CD continuous delivery using Nokia Continuous Delivery(NCD) platform. Assist with customer specific applications, including VMR(Voice Mail Routing System), PART(SIM Pre-Provisioning, Audit and Re sync Tool) microservices design, development, and deployment and integration on Nokia Container Service(NCS) platform. Perform regression testing automation, load and performance testing, production deployment, interfacing with customer, driving customer acceptance testing and sign off. Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks. Assist with Nokia's IPSL (Independent Protocol Simulator Language) tool for validating various 5G Network Element interfaces and IPSL tools to communicate and ensure understanding of functional and departmental goals. Work closely with Research and Development (R&D) teams for new feature development. Identify the need for corrective actions when necessary. Support delivery process and project timeline adherence. Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA may be permitted, depending on business need. #LI-DNI
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in the following areas: 5G Core Standalone / Non-Standalone Architecture Support; Cloud Native Network Function (CNF) design and development; CNF deployment in customer network, designing and implementing automated deployment of customer specific CNFs in to cloud native infrastructure; 5G/4G/3G/2G call flows, debugging and fixing core network issues; Cloud Native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker; Authoring, validating and delivery of complex MOPs (Method of Procedures) for deploying customer specific CNF; Version control systems: GITHUB and Linux; Scripting languages: Python, and Shell; and Communication protocols and interfaces: HTTP, HTTPS, SPML, LDAP, and SCTP.
Domestic travel is required up to 5%.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA may be permitted, depending on business need.
