Title : URBN Enterprise QA Engineer
Reports To : Engineering Manager
Overview : Urban Outfitters Inc. is looking for an Enterprise QA Engineer who will be a part of the URBN Engineering team, ensuring quality e-commerce experiences for our customers on the Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Terrain and Free People websites. This QA Engineer will lead, review, and participate in feature testing activities relating to the development of the next generation of the retail technology, e-commerce sites and mobile applications.
Responsibilities :
Produce effective and detailed software test plans and test cases
Lead testing effort as well as support improvements in performance, scalability, and user experience
Collaborate with QA and cross functional team members on all project related testing
Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and other QA Engineers to deliver high quality products while meeting deadlines
Provide feedback on the various testing results and assist in shaping release efforts that support various business initiatives
Qualifications :
1-2+ years of experience working in a tech-focused QA environment
Meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to learn
Curiosity and enthusiasm for investigating
Working knowledge of retail and online commerce
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Job Skills :
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from senior management to associate level
Bonus: Understanding of databases and basic SQL commands
Bonus: Understanding of triage best practices and debugging
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Technology or experience in a related field
