Compensation: $145,000 - $160,000 / year
Description As a Scientist on our Delivery team, you will perform scientific and data analysis while helping to drive our client projects.
At Enable, you will:
Perform image pre-processing and analysis to extract relevant features or regions of interest, such as enhancement, filtering, and segmentation.
Develop and implement analysis algorithms or software tools for quantitative analysis, such as measuring object properties, cell enumeration, or biomarker detection.
Generate visual representations such as graphs, charts or heatmaps to facilitate data interpretation and communication of results
Analyze data to draw meaningful insights, identify patterns, and generate hypotheses for further investigation
Run and curate bioinformatic reports to be presented to our clients
Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability such as validating analysis algorithms or verifying annotations
Document analysis methodologies, results and findings in scientific reports or publications
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data processing, data analysis, and relevant technologies to continually improve data analysis workflows
Provide technical support to interdisciplinary teams and contribute to cross-functional projects
Support business development strategy and processes
Play a key leadership role in refining operational processes, systems, and infrastructure increasing performance, and enhancing employee and client experiences
Review, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies, and/or procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutions
Lead, motivate, and support the team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment
Provide leadership to the service line, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior
Who you are:
PhD in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biostatistics, Bioengineering, or similar; or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated experience in generating and analyzing high-parameter biological datasets (including proteomics, transcriptomics, functional genomics, and/or imaging datasets)
Demonstrated experience and skills in image and data processing and analysis techniques, such as image enhancement, segmentation, feature extraction, and quantification
Proficient in programming languages commonly used in image data analysis, such as Python, R, MATLAB, or ImageJ/FIJI
Familiarity with biomedical imaging techniques, such as microscopy, radiography, or other imaging modalities, and understanding of related image data formats
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights
Strong attention to detail and ability to implement quality control measures for accurate and reliable data analysis
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Prior experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences research
