Finance Director

Collectively, our brands cover virtually every aspect of researching, planning, and booking travel, from choosing the best airplane seat, to reading personal travel reviews of hotels, to planning what to do in a destination once you arrive. The Expedia Group serves both leisure and business travelers with tastes and budgets ranging from modest to luxury. Expedia Group delivers consumer travel demand globally to thousands of hotels and vacation rentals, hundreds of airlines, thousands of activities, and dozens of car rental companies and cruise lines.

We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Director to join the Brands Central FP&A team. This leader will manage a team of 5-7 and will report into the Senior Director, Brands FP&A. The Director will work across the EG finance ecosystem, serve as a key thought partner to the Brands CFO, and work directly with both the President and COO of the Brands Organization.

What you'll do:

Lead a team that provides financial management support and insight for 80% of EG’s revenue

Advance our Overhead management and best practices

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining processes

Oversee and manage the execution of the Brands Plan and E2E monthly forecasts

Manage R&O consolidation and scenario modelling to help guide key business decisions

Lead and deliver against key finance strategic initiatives

Continuously raise the bar of talent

Who you are:

Leadership experience in a variety of analytical, strategic, and high-visibility finance roles

Proven track record in driving excellence in financial planning and insight

Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills

Proven ability to influence and drive leadership to decisions

Comfortable creating positive relationships across a number of teams and supporting c-suite level leaders

Proven track record to work autonomously and lead a broad range of projects simultaneously and efficiently

Able to evaluate and make recommendations across opposing and equally critical business needs

Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability, in a constantly fast-evolving environment

Drive high standards for individual, team, and organizational accomplishment; tenaciously work towards challenging goals

Demonstrate a keen understanding of business operations and the organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive profitable growth

A team player who has thrived in demanding, intellectually charged environments

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $196,000.00 to $274,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $313,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
