Lex is looking for someone with the computer aptitude and vision needed to maintain our companys technical needs across 3 locations. The Information Technology Specialist is responsible for providing technical support in areas such as troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting administration and maintenance of Lexs ERP system (M2M, Shop Floor Manager, etc.), and supporting administration of network and communication systems (including telephone systems) throughout all of Lex Products facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily including the following:
Provide end-user tech support in an effective and timely manner
Install and configure new workstations, laptops, printers, and software for end user computing
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, laptops, printers and mobile equipment
Provide basic network support and be able to set up new users as needed
Escalate issues to higher tier tech support when needed
Maintain and support audiovisual equipment
Provide user access to Lexs ERP system (APTEAN - M2M) and Shop Floor Manager (SFM), and Pentagon.
Identify and implement solutions to improve M2M system efficiencies
Train end users how to use M2M and other electronic systems
Monitor system performance and implement system enhancements
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Knowledge of network environments including VMWare, VOIP, and SDWAN
Knowledge of AD and group policy
3-5 years of post-education IT work experience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
MTA Windows operating systems is a plus
Ability to lift 45lbs
Ability to work individually and with others
Team player equipped with the communication (written/verbal) and technical skills needed to successfully complete assignments
Solid time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize assigned tasks efficiently
Skilled in supporting an IT system spanning several locations.
Experience with Windows OS, Windows Server, Exchange
Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom
Adobe products
RDP and TS
