Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Project Scheduler to support the Tactical Data Networks Enterprise (TDNE) program office, which is within the Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
The Tactical Data Networks Enterprise (TDNE) contributes to the development, delivery and deployment of the next generation aerial layer network through a portfolio of legacy and advanced waveforms and airborne network management/development efforts that advance interoperability and connectivity
LOCATION : Hanscom AFB, MA
JOB STATUS : Full time; salaried
JOB RESPONSBILITIES:
Plan, build, coordinate, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for division programs and projects and/or provide technical assistance to program/project managers.
Communicate and coordinate IMS activities among the functional disciplines within the division.
Provide IMS technical products (e.g., GANTT charts, network diagrams, etc.) as required for division level leadership
Ensure integrated schedule management technical support to system acquisition processes and collaborate and incorporate key schedule requirements to ensure mission success
Support program/project requirements development, plan preparation, and assess ability to achieve results.
Communicate schedule objectives, plans, and status to the customer, the project team, and management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advance understanding and working knowledge of project scheduling tools, specifically Microsoft Project and Project Server
Ability to review, evaluate, and make recommendations on project schedules (IMS) submitted by vendor contractors for completeness, logic, and critical path(s)
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience (5 DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience (8 DoD)
MUST have an active US security clearance.
