Bestgate Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Software Integration Engineer to support a High-Performance Computing Contract. The ideal candidate will develop software Tools and Services in a Linux environment supporting a cloud offering with open-source software using Kubernetes, Docker, Rook and other cutting-edge software. We are looking for a candidate who has experience working in a containerized landlord/tenant environment. The engineer will support the development of Tools and Services that increase the efficiency of software to production within a DevOps culture.

Required:

Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python in a Linux environment.

General technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components.

Experience with automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible.

In-depth experience with trouble-shooting large Linux Clusters.

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) Experience using Git for version control.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in engineering will be considered.
