Principal Wireless Systems Engineer (TS/SCI with Polygraph required)

A day in the life: As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will work with a large team of Systems, Security and Software Engineers in support of the TechSIGINT mission. You'll have the opportunity to change the way our customers collect, and analyze SIGINT data. A passion for open-source communication platforms such as RedHawk SDR, GNU Radio, et would also be super helpful.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities for new and existing mission systems
Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies
Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
Develop system architecture and system design documentation
Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
Hold the ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
Participate in the development of system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents
Participates in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle
Derive from the system requirements an understanding of stakeholder needs, functions that may be logically inferred and implied as essential to system effectiveness
What you bring to the table: 20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
5 years of demonstrated working knowledge of the following: High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Cellular Protocols, WiFi, Angle of Arrival (AOA), Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA), or Frequency Difference of Arrival (FDOA).
A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university OR 5 years of additional systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
