The Marketing Manager plays a key supporting role in enabling Healthy Growth® for Apple Growth Partners and its clients. At AGP, Marketing is responsible for building awareness, driving new business, adding client value, supporting merger integration, and advancing firm recruiting.
Essential Functions:
Contributes to the firm’s content marketing development efforts (articles, e-books, case studies, social media posts, infographics, collateral, webinars, brochures, etc.) for the sake of educating clients/prospects and generating leads.
Collaborates with Senior Director of Marketing on the annual and monthly content calendar to align strategic goals and ROI measures for firm success.
Collaborates with vertical and department leaders for specific content needs for focus areas.
Writes and publishes thought leadership pieces on behalf of department leaders, for internal and external distribution.
Schedules ongoing webinar series for the firm’s subject matter experts.
Assists in the design and execution of marketing campaigns for annual webinar series.
Collaborates with Senior Director of Marketing to distribute content marketing pieces and analyze results.
Supports the intersection of the marketing and business development functions at AGP, through a wide variety of hands-on projects and initiatives, including:
Provides immediate responses to inbound leads.
Manages proposal requests and pitch materials.
Assists with the preparation and dissemination of materials related to pipeline meetings.
Helps with client data segmentation, clean up, and best practices.
Manages the firm’s website and social media presence.
Posts approved content and updates to firm website using designated CMS system.
Manages firm’s website to meet user’s needs, including graphic design, content organization, and readability within ADA guidelines.
Manages website reporting tools including owning Google Analytics, and can provide reports and insights when requested.
Regularly posts thought leadership, firm culture, and news content to various social media channels (primarily LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).
Manages the firm’s ongoing marketing needs.
Facilitates client survey.
Responsible for firmwide Awards program.
Maintains and updates inventory of print and digital collateral, including sales sheets related to each service and industry, staff bios, and stationery.
Plans and supports marketing events, including mixers, webinars, and client appreciation events.
Assists with internal firm communications, including weekly and monthly staff emails, and updates to the intranet.
Participates in brainstorming sessions with internal and external clients to develop marketing recommendations.
Manages and approves business card and stationery orders as needed.
Participates in process improvement projects, as needed, per the Senior Director of Marketing, that support scaling for growth.
Assists with other marketing projects, as needed.
Required Experience:
4+ years of experience in corporate marketing, ideally including at least two (2) years in B2B, preferably in accounting or professional services.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or similar field.
Preferred marketing certifications in one of the following: HubSpot (any current courses), Sprout (any current courses), Google AdWords or Analytics.
Strong copywriting and editing skills as demonstrated through portfolio and provided written test.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT.
Comfortable with marketing technology, including project management software, Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva, WordPress, Sprout, marketing automation, and social platforms.
Additional Skills & Characteristics:
Outstanding client service orientation and a demonstrated commitment to delivering client value, internally and externally.
Excellent time management skills, project management skills, and a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Skills in copywriting, editing, public relations and multimedia advertising is a plus.
Ability to collaborate well with others.

Ability to work independently and remotely with ongoing communication.

Working Environment
Approximately 100% of the job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. Ability to easily travel to Beachwood and Akron office as needed is required.
Physical Demands
The employee regularly must be able to complete the following activities in the course of his/her job: walking, talking, typing, hearing within normal ranges, and repetitive motion.
Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Involves sitting most of the time.
