Position Summary
ChesPenn Health Services is seeking a dynamic, customer service driven professional to manage our Center for Family Health at Eastside.
Qualifications
Associate Degree or Post High School Education; Bachelor's Degree a plus
Two or more years' experience in a leadership role
Current COVID-19 and flu vaccines required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Outstanding customer service skills, including conflict resolution
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and train
Able to function independently in a high-pressure environment.
Proficient knowledge of data entry.
Positive and enthusiastic demeanor while directly working with patients and coworkers.
Possession of a valid driver's license and a licensed automobile preferred.
Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
What You'll Do
Customer Service: Ensure completion of all appropriate forms and assembly of chart- associated with registering a new patient
Verify and maintain up-to-date entries in patient demographics and insurance fields
Practice and teach excellence in customer service
Verify and qualify completion of required sliding fee applications
Supervisory: Train and supervise front desk staff
Arrange clinical coverage in the event of absences, lateness or urgent situations
Monitor patient flow by periodically surveying volume waiting for service, waiting room volume, and make patient/provider adjustments as needed
Serve as a team leader for all staff at the site
Arrange facility management, and repairs
Verify and approve payroll and leave requests
Clerical: Maintain daily and monthly statistical logs
Secure and collect co-payments at end of day and verifies against daily encounters
Prepare and submit Daily Operating Report (DOR) to administration daily by 11:00 a.m.
Maintain and monitor monthly schedules for providers
General: Maintain equipment and order supplies
Conduct and oversee monthly site meetings to disseminate policy and procedures of the organization
Technology: Train new employees on all aspects of the practice management information system
Assist the Directors of IT and Operations with troubleshooting of software and Internet issues
Work with Director of IT in monitoring the computerized components of the practice management system
