A leading group of manufacturing companies specializing in industrial products with a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence. The organization comprises three distinct manufacturing entities, each with its own unique market presence and product lines. They are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations and drive financial strategy across all three companies.
Position Overview:
The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial management, planning, and financial strategy for the group of manufacturing companies. This role will involve overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, as well as driving financial performance and growth. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, executive team, and board of directors to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team
Lead and manage the finance team across all three manufacturing companies.
Financial Planning and Analysis
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Treasury and Risk Management
Manage cash flow, investments, and capital expenditures to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices.
Develop and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
Oversee internal and external audits and implement recommendations to improve financial controls.
Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
Strategic Initiatives
Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives, including due diligence and integration processes.
Evaluate and implement growth opportunities, including new product lines and market expansions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
Proven track record of financial management and strategic planning in a multi-entity organization.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
