We are looking for a SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER, COMMERCIAL to join our talented team in our rapidly growing company. This newly created role is responsible for the ongoing success of Diamond W’s commercial portfolio, which consists of vinyl, modular carpet, rubber, specialty applications, surface preparation, and more. The Senior Product Manager’s objectives are to protect and grow market share, manage the existing portfolio, and identify new products and segments for growth. S/he will also be responsible for providing well-researched analysis of external factors (markets, competition, industry trends) and internal factors (internal capabilities, product line performance, etc.) as an input for strategic decision making. This position will be based in our City of Industry, CA office with potential for hybrid work, and will report to the Director of Product Management & Marketing. Responsibilities Defining the product strategy and roadmap by analyzing the market, customer requirements, and competitor benchmarks

Driving new product introductions and updates, from ideation to post-launch

Determining and monitoring pricing by utilizing market data, costs, and anticipated volume

Owning the in-stock program

Driving the strategy and implementation of marketing efforts for the commercial unit

Partnering successfully with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Service teams

Other duties as required

Occasional travel required for trade shows and vendor meetings

Experience & Education Desired Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business analysis, or related field

8+ years of relevant B2B experience in product management in flooring or building materials

Demonstrated success defining, launching, and monitoring products through a strategic process

Must be organized and structured, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate the status and resolution effectively and in a timely manner

Excellent listening skills paired with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Strategic thinker with a high level of aptitude in understanding and processing technical language

Ability to analyze, compare, contrast, and synthesize information efficiently, utilizing information to generate ideas and recommendations

The discipline to remain focused on long-term strategy amidst short-term pressures

Highly developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence cross-functional teams

Able to successfully work with internal and external resources

Exceptional project management skills, PMP certification preferred

Advanced skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
