Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager with a strong background in consumer web and digital products. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of our products, ensuring they meet market needs and drive user engagement. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, to deliver high-quality video streaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for our services.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product direction.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business goals.
Product Development:
Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to create detailed product specifications and requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.
Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to gather feedback and ensure product alignment with market demands.
Present product updates and strategic plans to senior management and stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and decisions.
User Experience:
Advocate for the user experience by understanding user needs and pain points.
Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continually improve the product.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Utilize data analytics and user feedback to inform product decisions and measure success.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product performance and user engagement.
Implement A/B testing and other methodologies to optimize features and functionalities.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree.
Minimum of 5-7 years of product management experience, with video or streaming products being a nice to have. Consumer web product experience
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital and/or web products
Skills and Competencies:
Deep understanding of web/digital technologies and working through the product lifecycle
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
A/B Testing, UX, and working in an Agile environment
Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with live streaming technologies and platforms.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
