Description
The Revenue Cycle Process Analyst, within the Revenue Cycle Process department, functions as a liaison in examining the data and statistical factors impacting the Accuity chart lifecycle and supports procedures to ensure all accounts are addressed per SLA to minimize the impact to client DNFB. This position assists with supporting the work of the operational teams to determine how best to achieve consistently high-quality, timely, and efficient delivery within our operational functional areas.

This role requires communication, facilitation, analytical, and motivational skills consistent with successful change management and innovation deployment. The Revenue Cycle Process Analyst is a change agent, results-driven, and maintains focus on sustainment of data reporting as a liaison between client success and works closely with Revenue Cycle Analysts.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a liaison for internal monitoring, reporting, and communicating Accuity turn-around-times that directly impact client final billing, including processing data and sharing with the RCA team
Reviewing DNFB reports and deciphering activities that may have taken place within the DNFB report, providing analytical feedback
Working efficiently and in a timely manager to share data and/or reports with RCA team - Turn Around Time, Clientele Inventory within the Tool, etc.
Able to measure and/or learn key data metrics to track the effectiveness of Turn Around Time and DNFB initiatives and processes to identify areas of opportunity for improvement
Has the ability to understand and/or learn organizational feedback for current dashboards and scorecards incorporating revenue cycle KPIs tailored for various teams at Accuity
Collaborate with Operational functional areas to resolve any discrepancies or workflow issues (pilot, post-pilot, and/or during conversion) including, but not limited to, RCAs and Client Success
Monitor and review daily DNFB and internal backlog reports to ensure all accounts are reviewed and addressed in a timely manner to assist leadership with minimizing client DNFB
Responsible for running reports and monitoring data entry edits to ensure timely and accurate client reporting
To work with leadership and direct supervisor to assist with identifying areas of opportunities based on data analysis
Operate and navigate political landscapes to achieve project goals
Educate and follow up on trends for data integrity edit issues with affected Operational functional areas
Coordinate with Operational leadership and IT for process and/or tool enhancement opportunities to improve overall data entry integrity

Requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma required
Associate degree in health information technology preferred
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in an inpatient healthcare setting and/or related field including data analyst
1-2 years customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of billing systems, EHRs, and electronic claims submission processes
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues
Demonstrated ability to analyze, manage, and identify issue
Ability to handle change without compromising goals and objectives
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously meeting time constraints and deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with others to build trust and work as a liaison between teams
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including with senior management, colleagues, and employees
Able to present and/or learn how to present complex data in a meaningful method, i.e., charts, graphs, etc.
Ability to quickly analyze complex situations and share data with leadership within RCP department
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
Understands ICD10 CM/PCS guidelines and principals
Ability to use a PC in a Windows environment
Focused individual able to work independently in a remote environment and also within a team environment
