**Sycamore Services** is seeking a **Director of Transportation** Provides leadership and vision for all aspects of programs and services within the agency. Responsibilities include operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems to ensure customer satisfaction, operating efficiency, financial strength and effective growth in accordance with strategic planning and CEO/COO directives. Plan, implement, administer and evaluate overall performance within assigned service line. Assesses community needs and coordinates resources to enhance service delivery and maximize consumer outcomes. Prepares and administers program budgets, with administrative oversight. Provides guidance, leadership and coaching to assigned personnel. Uphold and promote agency's mission statement.
Up to $1000 Sign On Bonus
**Job Qualifications**
* Minimum of three years of administrative practice experience preferred
* Minimum of three years experience in human services field preferred
* Minimum of three years of supervisory experience preferred
* Must demonstrate sound understanding of Community Integration, Social Role Valorization, and the ability to work effectively within human service systems
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Membership in professional organization is an asset
* Ability to work non-standard/flexible schedule
* Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to obtain Driver for Hire license
* Strong analytical, written, verbal presentation and interpersonal skills required
* Effective transportation to worksites and ability to travel between satellite offices and community locations.
**Essential Functions**
Staff Management
* Provide guidance, feedback and coaching for all subordinates
* Assist with hiring and training of assigned staff
* Provide informal feedback and formal performance evaluations for staff as needed and in accordance with agency policies
* Coordinate and lead meetings and other staff activities
* Assist staff with providing services as needed
* Work in conjunction with leadership team to ensure agency success.
Program Coordination
* Guide the strategic and tactical direction of the assigned service line(s) to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, productivity and efficiency
* Will serve as the agency "expert" for assigned service line(s), staying abreast of applicable funding source/accreditation standards, industry trends, etc. Ensure information is communicated to staff throughout the agency as appropriate
* Implement and enforce program procedures, as appropriate, to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of services
* Implement internal controls to ensure quality of program functions and compliance with appropriate state and national entities
* Assist in attaining desired outcomes for community members including people with disabilities based upon their desires, interests, and personal plans for the future in regard to accessing transportation
* Responsible for management of transportation requests and waiting lists
* Ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition and all safety and maintenance requirements for building and vehicles are met
* Adhere to INDOT, FTA and other governing organization requirements.
Data Management
* Coordinate all reporting and documentation relating to program
* Ensure program consistency with policies, procedures, and regulations
* Develop all required reports at request of CEO/COO
* Monitor all funding documentation.
Program Relations
* Participate in internal and external committees
* Evaluate programs and recommend and implement new programs and services as needed
* Assist with grant or report writing as requested
* Present program to professionals
* Assess stakeholder and customer satisfaction with services and programs.
Fiscal Manager
* Responsible for development of and performance to service line budget and financial goals
* Monitor service line performance with budget projections growth expectations
* Oversee systems including authorizations, and other funding sources to monitor billing documentation and assure appropriate utilization and payment for services provided
* Market services in a manner that enables service line to meet all budget and service line expectations
* Market services to businesses, community members, and other funding agents.
Sycamore Services Team
* Promote and uphold the agency mission statement
* Promote sense of team through mutual respect and assisting co-workers as needed
* Interacts regularly with the leadership team to ensure the service line's operational priorities are aligned with the total organization direction.
**Physical demands**
* Bending, Standing, Sitting for long periods of time
* Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds; upper body leverage strength required
