Description
Position Summary: As Customer Relations Representative you will work closely with homeowners on all customer service and warranty issues, ensuring a positive homebuying and post-closing experience. You will assist the Customer Relations Manager to determine the best course of action to respond to and resolve service requests from homeowners. The Customer Relations Rep will coordinate with homeowners and vendors to schedule and complete open ticket items in a complete and timely manner with exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Facilitates in a timely response, execution, and completion of all customer issues.
Determining best course of action to address service requests in compliance with the divisions warranty policies and procedures.
Communicates effectively with homeowners before, during, and after the service requests are addressed.
Conducting follow up communications to ensure customers are satisfied with their products and services following the completion of their service requests.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the divisions customers, construction managers, and vendor/trade partners.
Ensures that Homeowners are educated on the specific products and warranty procedures specific to the home after closing.
Work with construction managers to ensure we are delivering an exceptional new home experience to Chesmar customers.
Qualifications
Job knowledge and Skills: Exemplary customer service skills.
On-site, hands-on experience in new home construction including understanding of the new home construction process.
Ability to understand, communicate, and comply with the divisions customer relations policies and procedures.
Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Maintain proper and professional etiquette and appearance.
Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly in fast-paced, demanding work environment.
Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and producers
Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
Adaptable to changing business practices and evolving industry challenges.
Capacity to prioritize and delegate tasks to others.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Must have a valid drivers license and successfully pass a background check.
Education Requirements: College Degree preferred, but not required
1+ years of homebuilding or warranty experience required
