A law firm in Boston is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join their team. This position requires a candidate with substantial hands-on experience in commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans, as well as a strong track record as a key member of deal teams. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to run key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing. Large law firm experience is strongly preferred.
Duties:
Handle commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loan transactions.
Act as a key member of deal teams, overseeing critical aspects of transactions.
Conduct thorough due diligence and manage the closing process for transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex loan documents.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients on commercial real estate finance matters.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction flow.
Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Assist in the structuring and execution of various real estate finance deals.
Resolve legal issues and disputes related to real estate finance transactions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal developments.
Requirements:
3-6 years of commercial real estate finance experience.
Hands-on experience with commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans.
Proven ability to manage key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing.
Experience as a key member of deal teams.
Large law firm experience strongly preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
Certifications:
Admission to the state bar in Massachusetts is required.
