A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience in real estate law to engage in various aspects of real estate legal work. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, exceptional writing skills, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to handling complex transactions.
Duties:
Provide legal representation and counsel in real estate transactions, including borrower and lender representation in acquisitions and dispositions.
Handle matters related to land use, construction and permanent financings, and commercial leasing.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in real estate matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents related to real estate transactions.
Provide legal advice on title issues, land use permitting, design and construction contracts, condominiums, and affordable housing finance.
Requirements:
3-7 years of experience in real estate law.
Exceptional academic credentials.
Strong work ethic and the ability to think strategically.
Membership in the Massachusetts Bar or the ability to waive in.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar.
Skills:
Proficiency in real estate law and regulations.
Strong legal research and analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation and contract drafting abilities.
Knowledge of title issues and land use permits.
Familiarity with design and construction contracts.
