Role Overview:

We're looking for a  Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships t o join our dynamic team to help us expand our reach and deepen our impact. Working remotely from LA County or Orange County, CA, you'll be instrumental in forging new partnerships, developing strategic initiatives, and collaborating closely with our Chief Marketing Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis & Strategy Development:  Develop strategic plans to enter new markets or expand within existing ones

Relationship Management:  Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders. Serve as a primary point of contact to ensure their needs are met and to foster long-term loyalty

Product & Service Development Collaboration:  Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to inform the creation of products or services that meet market needs. Provide insights from customer feedback and market trends

Negotiation & Deal Closure:  Lead negotiation processes with new partners or clients to secure profitable deals. Ensure contracts are in line with company goals and legal requirements

Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Collaborate with teams across the company, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure cohesive efforts towards business development goals

Brand Ambassadorship:  Act as a representative of the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and forge strategic partnerships

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in business development strategies and practices

Who You Are

A seasoned professional in business development or sales, with a strong network in LA's business and events community

An excellent communicator who excels at building relationships

Independently driven, but thrive in a collaborative setting
