IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture)

Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Position is within the Army Deputy Chief of Staff G-8, Program Analysis & Evaluation Directorate, with focus on cloud computing, data, cyber security, and other initiatives. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the data and applications leveraging the cPROBE authoritative programming data across the Army headquarters and subordinate units. Align and manage cPROBE and related applications enterprise architecture and systems engineering activities in accordance with DoD and HQDA policies and directives, particularly cyber security requirements. Advise the Chief of Program Budget Data Management Division (PBDMD) and other staff elements on the cPROBE data and EA programs. Provide technical and EA subject matter expertise and systems analysis support for cPROBE IT/application/cloud computing capabilities, to include planning and implementation of application rationalization and migration planning and execution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing Enterprise Architecture artifacts for compliance and completeness to ensure EA continues to reflect mission needs; resolving unusually complex problems associated with, major cyber security initiatives to include solution design, implementation, and sustainment; evaluating IT and application operational and resource requirements; providing technical guidance in application of existing and emerging technologies and methodologies. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
