The Role

The Global Procurement Senior Project Manager is a forward-thinking collaborator that enjoys making connections with multiple entities internally/externally. The Global Procurement Senior Project Manager will support the Global Procurement Team by providing support on all RFP projects, helping with initiatives to evolve our processes, and contributing to building relationships for successful results. They will work closely with Global Procurement leadership on strategic procurement activities including identifying global alignment initiatives, cost optimization opportunities, competitive bidding, contract negotiation, and purchasing process compliance efforts. A strong candidate will possess a passion for a high paced global environment with previous procurement experience, while being highly motivated by achieving overall team success.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Support the Global Procurement Manager or manage own global/North America projects in planning, executing, and reporting competitive bidding projects generating value in cost/quality/service with Global Procurement leadership Support or lead sourcing strategies, drive purchase processes with reporting, compliance, RFP software management, contract review, and research.

Optimizing contract lifecycle to support KPIs, vendor management, consolidation, and streamlining. Managing Global Travel Program with inventive strategies for the online booking tool, facilitating air/hotel/car relationships, and overall policy compliance.

We’d love to hear from people with

3-5 years Procurement Project Management experience

Experience working within a complex organization with multiple cross-functional stakeholders

Strong interpersonal and communications skills

Highly organized with strong negotiation, an a l y t i c a l , p r o b l e m s olv i ng and project management skills

Ability to adapt to versatile situations and provide integrity and confidence

Background in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Retail, and Travel is preferred

Proficient in all Microsoft applications and accounting software (Oracle preferred) a plus

$80,000 - $90,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location . Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
