We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Youth Coordinator to join our team and support the organization in providing a safe and engaging environment for youth activities. The Youth Coordinator will play a pivotal role in chaperoning youth, ensuring the smooth setup of facilities, welcoming and supervising young participants, taking attendance, preparing necessary supplies, and handling other tasks associated with the position.

Responsibilities:

Chaperoning Youth:

Accompany and ensure the safety and well-being of youth during events and activities.

Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.

Facility Setup:

Prepare and arrange facilities, equipment, and materials required for youth programs and events.

Ensure a clean and organized environment that adheres to safety standards.

Youth Engagement:

Welcome and orient youth to the program or event.

Promote positive interactions, teamwork, and respect among participants.

Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that encourage skill development and personal growth.

Attendance and Records:

Maintain accurate attendance records for each program or event.

Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or organization leadership.

Supplies and Inventory:

Keep an inventory of supplies and materials needed for youth programs.

Prepare and distribute necessary materials to participants as required.

Communication:

Effectively communicate with parents, guardians, and program participants regarding schedules, updates, and important information.

Collaborate with the team to improve program effectiveness and outcomes.

Role Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.

Experience working with youth in a similar capacity is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with young people.

Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected situations.
