RER Solutions, Inc is accepting resumes for an Outreach and Business Development Consultant position. The Outreach and Business Development Consultant will provide onsite program support to our Federal client located in Washington, DC .
Provide support to internal and external communications and outreach in support of the mission of the agency
Serve as a consultant which is responsible for managing and implementing applicant engagement with the public, including potential applicants and other key stakeholders
Supporting the LPO leadership external outreach and stakeholder engagement efforts
Focus on critical minerals market segment but be available to support other market segments as needed
Developing and executing stakeholder and applicant engagement strategies such as external and business development meetings
Serve as a liaison to potential applicants for LPO
Advise and support the LPO Leadership on stakeholder engagement and communications issues to promote the program's mission with potential applicants
Coordinate with other DOE entities, such as the national labs and applied sciences offices to advance the program's mission
Supports in building and executing a Strategic and Tactical Communications plan that includes key information and processes and approaches that communicate the program mission, objectives, activities, and accomplishments to internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for providing support for all internal and external communications in support of the program mission
Provides advice and recommendations to leadership to accelerate project development
Interfaces with government management personnel and contract managers and provides regular reports of progress
Presents analyses through a variety of means, including formal written studies, PowerPoint, and oral presentations
Prepares or collaborates with senior staff in the preparation of comprehensive position papers, memorandums, and/or briefing materials
Monitoring energy sector developments pertinent to the operating environment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client issued Public Trust
Prior experience in a Federal agency is preferred
Ability to work independently on projects requiring research and preparing draft correspondence
Ability to be self-directed, take the initiative, anticipate and address needs, as well as see projects through to completion
Advanced computer and internet research skills
Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
EDUCATION :
A minimum of a high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
