The Sr. Manager, Product Management is responsible for ownership of the end-to-end Wrist Wearables Product Portfolio plan and has accountability for setting strategy, owning the number, developing master GTM plan, and achieving business goals.
This position focuses on setting strategy, developing master GTM plan, business goals by aligning internal stakeholders to support business priorities.
Role And Responsibilities
Responsible for MX product strategy and market requirements (includes TAM, value proposition, use cases, investment, etc.), owns GTM plan (product, place, price, promotion), and life-cycle management.
Responsible for assessing current NC product portfolio capabilities, identifying gaps in product offering, and successfully bringing to market new innovative product categories with unique go-to-market strategies - inclusive of business case, execution plan, etc.
Determine a point-of-view (POV) and create a business case (consisting of market opportunity, P&L assessment, system, headcount, implementation plan, etc.) for implementing new hardware offerings.
Establish and manage cadence with sales operations, sales, finance, and marketing to review the performance of product category from a sell-in/sell-out perspective across all routes-to-market and accounts.
Assist in shaping the roadmap via product planning and collaboration with HQ
Voice of Customer and Voice of Partner
In-depth competitive analysis and gaps
Perspective and insight on market trends
Work with Samsung Alliance/Partnership teams and partners (Microsoft, Intel etc.) to drive unique GTM activities
Serve as Product Category spokesperson (external) and evangelist (internal); interface with analysts
Own presentation content for delegation meetings
Gain and maintain a deep understanding of sales process across MX product and routes to market.
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
8+ years relevant experience, preferably in the wrist wearables, Tech or Mobile market
Experience with commercial technologies or consumer electronics
Excellent written, and oral communication skills with a proven ability to provide clarity in complex situations
Experience producing highly effective presentations to communicate with internal and external customers and executives.
Passion for creating great customer experiences and for solving problems
Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to act as a Business Manager and drive an overall business plan.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company to achieve the NC B2B business plan.
Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
Review detailed product development, marketing documents and media materials as needed.
Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.
Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve customer business objectives, personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.
The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.
