Summary of Responsibilities
As the Sales Manager, you will oversee and drive the entire sales process, from initial client engagement to project closure. You will lead and inspire a talented sales team to meet and exceed revenue and profit targets while prioritizing client and team satisfaction. You'll work closely with leadership to help COOPER Design Build drive strategic growth and use your excellent communication skills to ensure effective messaging, ongoing training and development, clear, measurable sales goals, and a connection to COOPER Design Build’s core values and culture.
Essential Functions
Sales Strategy Development : Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed company revenue goals.
Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets, providing guidance and support as needed.
Sales Reporting : Develop, maintain, and update key reports. Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration : Work closely with the design, project management, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact through project completion.
Review & approve proposal documents
Set and attain yearly and quarterly sales goals, KPIs, and metrics
Lead weekly sales team meetings
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
5 or more years of sales or sales management in the remodeling industry or equivalent experience, demonstrating the proven ability to drive the sales process and manage a team
Business or sales-related degree or equivalent professional qualification, certification, or experience
Formal sales training (preferably Sandler)
Proven experience in customer relations and sales
Relevant remodeling industry knowledge
Ability to read construction documents
Proficient with computers, software, and typing
Proficient writing and communication skills
Valid driver’s license
Able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
Able to pass all pre-employment checks and requirements without incident
Compensation
Salary: $100,000- $115,000 plus Bonus
