Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager role is responsible for the training and direction of the sales team and overseeing all sales related activities. This involves cooperation and collaboration with Branch Managers to ensure that individual sales objectives are aligned with the financial goals of each branch and are appropriate for each market. Accountable for the overall sales performance and achievement of the sales goals and targets, ensuring sustainable revenue and gross profit growth by constantly maximizing market penetration.
Operations:
· Develop annual sales projections with each Account Executive for branch budget.
· Collaborate with Account Executives to establish and maintain a sales pipeline, aligned with the ideal customer profile.
· Ensure that Account Executive completes account setup according to company policy, including client agreements, credit review, and safety evaluations.
· Collaborate with Human Resources and Branch Manager on recruitment of new sales members.
· Oversee the rollout of new technology and features, ensuring staff adoption.
· Complete sales reporting to include sales scorecards, client base penetration, business review and others as needed.
· Review sales metrics to ensure that they meet business objectives and are reasonable expectations.
· Stay abreast of market conditions to ensure NWS remains competitive.
· Establish and negotiate pay, bill, direct hire, conversion fees and general pricing for individual staffing programs in coordination with the Account Executive and Branch Manager.
· Assist in start-up, development, and growth of new branches and serve as interim support when needed.
· Coordinate with sales team to prepare proposals for business and schedule and facilitate presentations as necessary.
· Coordinate and create content for regular sales meetings and contests.
· Report sales strategy and performance to the Leadership Team on a monthly and quarterly basis for the purpose of forecasting and monitoring sales performance.
· Prioritize and convey pertinent information to management promptly.
· Develop annual sales budget and present to President and Chief Financial Officer.
Sales and Client Relationship Management:
· Mentor, coach and train new and existing sales staff ensuring their constant professional growth and increased sales effectiveness.
· Collaborate with Account Executive and Corporate Marketing Specialist for marketing collateral.
· Consistent, weekly field time with Account Executives to include cold calling, prospect meetings, proposals, and business reviews.
· Participate in community activities to promote the organization and build goodwill.
· Maintain relationships, provide industry knowledge, resolve conflicts, and pursue new business within existing business.
· Collaborate on client retention and development strategies.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's client base and increase revenue streams.
· Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
· Collaborate with senior management to define sales objectives, forecast sales volumes, and establish budgetary targets.
· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored staffing solutions.
· Collaborate with Account Executives to identify, upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
Performance Metrics:
The Sales Manager will be held accountable for meeting the sales targets set forth for each branch. To do so will include holding each sales member to their own performance metrics in support of the branch budget. Additionally, the Sales Manager performance metrics focus on weekly sales activity in cooperation with the sales team, which all support and ensure branch profitability when met.

Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma, Valid Driver’s License, and proof of auto insurance.
· Bachelor’s degree, with a preference to a business degree, or a field related to the position is preferred.
· Minimum of 2 year of staffing industry experience.
· Minimum of 4 years sales experience.
· Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
