Ballow Construction is a newly minted organization to run residential construction projects that include new builds, ADUs, and renovations exclusively for the MMTM Real Estate Fund. We are seeking a founding Project Manager to oversee current projects in early stage and all future projects.
We are seeking a Project Manager who embodies our drive for excellence. This role is crucial for someone passionate about leading projects from inception to completion, with a focus on optimizing our systems and management processes. Our standout projects, like the multi-unit addition in North Clairemont and our ambitious 8-unit project adjacent to USD, exemplify our commitment to impactful development. With tools like Monday.com, Google Suite, and Procore, we're laying the groundwork for a state-of-the-art project management system.
Duties:
Working with Designers, Engineers and Owners (exclusively MMTM Real Estate Fund for now) during the early stages of the project to determine feasibility of execution
Build out scope, schedule and pricing of projects
Manage subcontractor scheduling and tendering
Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding work being performed.
Direct/coordinate work in the field in accordance with plans and specifications.
Communicate any conflicts or revisions associated with the project
Coordinate permits and any required inspections with local buildings departments
Identify conflicts in the construction progress and communicate them to the crew for resolution.
Maintain and update the construction schedules for assigned projects
Provide updated schedules and change orders to the Owners and sub-contractors in a timely manner.
Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified.
Preside at a pre-construction meeting with each subcontractor.
