StubHub's Core Experience (CX) team is responsible for the end-to-end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms. As the Senior User Experience Researcher for Core Experience, you will create a deep understanding and empathy for our users and deliver research insights that inform business, product, and design decisions.

Design is growing at StubHub, and this role will allow you to directly impact millions of fans who interact with our platform daily. This is a hybrid work opportunity located in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA. We have a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.

What You'll Do

Identify and prioritize research questions that drive business progress

Design and execute research projects ranging from generative to evaluative studies

Enable teams to gain a holistic understanding of user needs by marrying qualitative and quantitative data

Collaborate with product teams to integrate research insights into strategic and tactical decision-making

Measure and track the product impact on the evolution of user behavior and sentiment over time

Establish research best practices, processes, and methodological toolkits

Equip cross-functional partners with resources and guidance for independent research and data analysis

What You've Done 8+ years of user research experience, with experience in a lead role for a large product area

Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.).

Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.

Exceptional in communicating user research findings, with an ability to influence strategy and decision-making

Experience in systematically defining and measuring quality is a plus.

$185,000 - $225,000 a year

The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role is $185,000 - $225,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub's total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
