Who We Are: A diverse team of data wranglers and data summarizers. We use a variety of tools that are typically custom built for the application. We support large projects that will include interactions with scientists, engineers, and analysts.
Objectives of this Role: Create analytic methods to describe data using AI/ML.
Support mechanical and electrical systems designers by interpreting sensor data by applying physics/engineering principles to interpret data.
Develop test systems and scenarios to evaluate analytical methods.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Developing and implementing methods for data manipulation. This could include cleaning and preprocessing raw data, transforming data into usable formats, and conducting in-depth analyses to derive meaningful insights.
Analyze data and translate findings into compelling narratives. This involves using data visualization tools to create graphs, charts, and reports that communicate complex patterns and trends to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work to solve specific business problems by leveraging analytical skills to include decision support through data-driven recommendations based on their analyses.
Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and subject areas related to physics and data analysis. This involves a commitment to continuous learning and adapting to emerging trends.
Collaboration with teams from different departments or domains within the organization is often crucial. This might involve working with domain experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the relevance of analyses.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in Physics or Applied Physics.
0-5 years: A passion for data manipulation and analysis including AI/ML tool.
0-5 years: Data analysis software tools such as Matlab, Python, R, SAS etc.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
