Job Summary:
The Service Writer at Big O Tires Conifer is responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing all aspects of the service department. This individual will communicate with customers, technicians, and vendors to ensure efficient and timely completion of services, while also maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The Service Writer will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the overall success of the service department.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a Full-Time, hourly position in the PCS (Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services) industry. The compensation for this role ranges from $16 to $30 per hour, paid biweekly. Employees are also eligible for benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services
• Schedule appointments and manage the service department’s daily workflow
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all service orders and transactions
• Maintain and update accurate customer and vehicle records
• Verify and process all payments and transactions
• Coordinate with technicians and vendors to ensure timely completion of services
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Keep up-to-date with the latest products, services, and promotions offered by Big O Tires Aurora
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer concerns or complaints
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service and/or automotive experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
