As a Business Analyst at Autoscribe, you will play a crucial role in driving our business success by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and support the implementation of strategic initiatives. Your expertise in data analysis, process improvement, and communication will help shape the future of our payment processing services.

To succeed as the Business Analyst, you will provide technical and subject matter knowledge to maintain and enhance Enterprise Information and Data documentation capabilities. You will bring demonstrated competence in using information and data architecture to back up solution architecture, segment architecture, and enterprise architecture.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Develop views and data-flows for the enterprise's information and data. Collecting and analyzing information and data to produce new enterprise perspectives or improve the ones already present, which may express both the "as-is" and "to-be" architectures

Determine the significance of each data relationship and its relevance to each data store to preserve the integrity of the system and the system of record throughout the Enterprise Architecture (EA).

Provide strategic information as well as data and architectural services. Conduct research and analysis on some technological regions or skills to enhance the integrity and dependability of data.

Assist with determining opportunities to increase efficiency, improve information sharing, and reduce costs within the EA environment.

Assist with standardizing, reducing, and simplifying capabilities and information technology assets based on mission needs, resource constraints, technological advances, and planning within the IT and payment industry.

Define data flows, i.e., which components of the organization generate data, which need data to function, and which organization members are responsible for planning.

Converting the requirements of the business into the requisite technical specifications, which may include data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.

Establish the architectural data framework, standards, and principles, such as modeling, metadata, and security; reference data, such as product codes and client categories; master data, such as customers, vendors, materials, and staff; and

Establish a reference architecture, which is a model that others may use as a basis for constructing and improving data systems

Determine the information and data architectural principles and standards, and ensure they are followed.

Establish milestones for required departmental contributions and build methods to support collaboration within the tech stack.

Develop methods and processes to enhance the organization's current technologies' growth, focusing on customer experience.

Provide assistance to other engineers within the department in creating practical demonstrations of potential solutions and presenting such demonstrations to other team members.

In order to effectively maintain the software necessary to finish projects, you will need to collaborate with product engineering professionals already employed by the firm.

Serve as a role model and educator for other engineers within the business, and work to consistently improve company-wide procedures to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction and the absence of errors. To identify business bottlenecks with existing processes and data flow, one needs to offer a solution or work for the development and/or operations to improve or remove bottlenecks.

Collaborate with the project management teams to successfully monitor the implementation and progression of the initiative.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role. Proven experience in the payment processing industry or financial services is highly desirable.

Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar BI tools).

Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies.

Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).

Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to interpret and translate complex data into actionable insights.

Experience in conducting gap analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
