We are seeking an energetic, self-starter to join our growing team to support our business analyst efforts. The Business Analyst will perform documentation and maintenance tasks to meet changes in requirements of the users or user environment; enhance the system documentation to provide additional or changed functionality; and adapt the system documentation to changes in business processes.
Work location : Tysons Corner, VA, Hybrid - some work from home (must reside the local area)
Salary: $65,000-$75,000
Hours: Full time
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to comprehend how the Government Fee system works.
Familiar with System Lifecycle Management (SLM) methodology.
Ability to monitor and track project activities.
Must understand agile methodology and Jira software.
DHS experience preferred.
Job responsibilities include :
Support the software application and test performance failures, and implementation features for a government fee system components.
Develop System Change Requirements (SCRs).
Test emergency repairs.
Update and maintain the required System Lifecycle Management (SLM) documentation/deliverables.
Complete and update privacy and security compliance documentation.
Document and test the current external Fee System interfaces as identified.
Provide updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), scripts, and procedures to Customer Support Help Desk staff, when new information, releases, or changes regarding government Fee System have been distributed and/or implemented.
Meet with stakeholders, and Government stakeholders to discuss any technical issues on a bi-weekly, or as needed basis.
Perform all system administration activities associated with relevant application processes.
