At Power3 Solutions, we're looking for a part-time Strategic Sales and Growth Consultant to join our team and support growth initiatives for Power3 in building Business to Business (B2B) opportunities. We seek someone with contacts and relationships with larger-sized businesses, great negotiation skills, and familiarity with how to best leverage our contracts with clients for long-term stability and growth.
Power3 currently provides highly skilled consultants to our clients, who support various services, including recruiting, human resources, business development, contract management, web design, and marketing. Our main client base is federal contractors, and much of our skill set is geared toward the defense/intelligence, technology, aerospace, and life sciences community. However, we would like to provide our services to other industries and are also open to guidance on which industries to target. This internal Strategic Sales and Growth role will be part of a dynamic team that values your expertise and offers you the opportunity to be a leader and have input on our goals and outcomes for growth.
Title: Sales and Growth Manager
Location: Remote, with occasional travel within the MD/DC/VA area for networking
Job Type: Contract/1099 - Hours are negotiable, though part-time is preferred.
You'll be instrumental in expanding our footprint as a business solutions company, supporting more established businesses to build long-term opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the market
Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in our niche and similar industries
Collaborating with our team to develop tailored solutions that address clients' unique challenges
Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform our strategic approach
What We're Looking For:
A results-driven individual with a proven track record of success in business development within technology, defense and intelligence, aerospace, live sciences, and related industries. The ideal candidate will possess: Extensive experience in business development
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex solutions and close deals primarily with large or well-established companies for long-term contracts
A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for driving growth and exceeding targets
Conceptual plans and initiatives that can stabilize our Client contracts for long-term, larger accounts
Ability to shape and package services to clients in a way that promotes sales
Build high-value relationships with target industries throughout the country
Minimum of five years experience
Capable of managing and Maximizing Client Management Systems (CMS)
Capable of learning our capabilities and effectively communicating these services to clients
The position is a contract position, paid as 1099, and is a work-from-home opportunity with flexibility and autonomy within the timeline parameters. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, independent, and possess excellent communication skills. Our team will meet with Clients during regular business hours; therefore, we require all team members to be available for calls and virtual meetings.
