You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As a Regional Warehouse Manager, you will oversee and lead all warehouse operations within the branchs distribution network including managing staffing, equipment requirements, incentive programs, and inventory at each location. **WHAT YOULL BE DOING** (of Time)

Develop and manage meaningful key performance indicators to enhance the effectiveness of the department, coach leaders to develop plans for improvement based on priority though the Plan Do Check Act Cycle and MDI Methodology. (40%)

Motivate, direct, coach and develop a diverse, high performing and engaged team to meet established goals and build organizational capability. (20%)

Align with Supply Chain and Sales leaders to achieve operational objectives in safety, cost, customer service, delivery and inventory. (10%)

Champion & Lead warehouse through the Lean Journey to improve process and operational consistency to manage Safety, Quality, Cost and On Time Delivery. (20%)

Actively pursues innovation with the goal of making Simpsons Warehouse Supply chain a leader within the industry. (10%)

**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

If you can do everything listed above, youve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

* Bachelors degree in business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

* 5+ years experience in warehouse and logistics management required.

* Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, in regards to distribution operations.

* Safety: Consistently exemplify the highest of safety standards and monitor others to the same standards.

* Mathematical Reasoning: Basic algebraic and geometric concepts. Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimal equivalents.

* Reading Comprehension: Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and related correspondence. Able to write work procedures and instructions.

* Writing: Write routine reports, safety bulletins and procedure manuals

* Technical: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Simpson computer applications.

* Problem Solving: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Analysis/ Reasoning: Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

* Speaking: Effectively communicate in group settings and one-on-one, with all departments and at all levels within the organization.

* Leadership: Proven ability to effectively lead by motivating, coaching and mentoring team members. Proven ability to prioritize work and champion change. Willing to compassionately hold others accountable and to be held accountable.

**TRAVEL REQUIRED**

This job requires less than 25% domestic travel.

**WORK STATUS & LOCATION**

This is a full-time, exempt position located in Columbus, OH.

Relocation is available for this position.
