What are they looking for?
They are seeking an accomplished Capital Markets Partner to join their esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in capital markets transactions, demonstrating a proven ability to cultivate and manage a substantial book of business exceeding $3 million annually. As a pivotal member of their Securities Practice Group, the Partner will drive the firm’s growth initiatives while providing strategic counsel to clients on complex regulatory matters.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all facets of capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary offerings, debt and equity issuances, and regulatory compliance
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, while actively pursuing new business opportunities to expand the firm’s capital markets practice
Provide strategic guidance to clients on securities laws and regulations, corporate governance, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions that meet the evolving needs of their clients
Mentor and guide junior attorneys, fostering a culture of professional development and excellence within the Securities Practice Group
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital markets law at a reputable law firm
Proven track record of successfully managing a substantial book of business, with a minimum of $3 million in annual revenue
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a keen understanding of market trends and industry dynamics
