Negotiate complex standalone commercial transactions that facilitate technological advancements and partnerships.
Provide legal counsel to founders developing cutting-edge technologies in the life sciences sector.
Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property and regulatory matters affecting technology transactions.
Draft and review agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to technology transactions.
Requirements: 3-6 years of licensing/collaboration and commercial partnering transactions experience.
Substantial law firm experience representing biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
Superior academic credentials from a reputable law school.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Membership in the California Bar or eligibility to take the next available California Bar exam.
Education and Certifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Skills: Strong understanding of intellectual property law, particularly in the life sciences sector.
