Senior Manager Compensation

The Senior Compensation Manager works with senior leadership to design or enhance, implement, manage, and communicate compensation programs, policies, and procedures to executives, managers, and associates for assigned client groups. Consults with business leaders and HR partners on compensation programs and their applications within the respective business units. Leads key projects, working cross functionally within the organization and with external vendors. Reports to the Vice President, Global and Executive Compensation.

Responsibilities

Compensation Guidance: Provides guidance and consultation on compensation strategies, policies, and procedures for assigned client groups.

Compensation Plan Administration: Works with leadership to design, develop, and administer company’s compensation plans, including base pay, short and long-term incentive compensation plans, and recognition plans; leverages technology to develop operational procedures and systems to ensure efficient and timely delivery.

Annual Salary Increase Administration: Leads and collaborates on the administration of the annual merit and incentive process; leads the benchmarking process for assigned client groups, including merit, structure, and position movement recommendations.

Reporting and Analysis: Completes and analyzes complex compensation analyses to inform decision-making.

Benchmarking: Maintains pulse on industry, market, and legal intelligence; builds partnerships across the business and within the industry.

Compliance: Partners with Legal and Compliance teams to develop programs to comply with new and existing compensation-related regulations and pay equity.

Project Management: Participates in, leads and/or manages cross-functional project teams.

Compensation Communications/Training: Develop communications/training for HR, managers, employees on compensation programs, annual review, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

7+ years of Compensation experience with 2+ years of experience managing a team

Demonstrates high level of collaboration

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrates care to deliver outstanding service

Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education
