Main Responsibilities:
Lead technical designs and integration activities, including data model design and solution delivery.
Develop and maintain robust data engineering solutions and pipelines, optimizing for performance and cost-effectiveness.
Define and promote best practices for code management, automated testing, and deployments.
Translate high-level business requirements into technical needs, collaborating with business and product teams.
Mentor and train junior team members, contributing to the modernization of legacy solutions and platforms.
About You:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in IICS/Informatica and strong knowledge of research data domain.
Proficient in big data integration on cloud-based platforms like AWS and Snowflake.
Skilled in scripting languages (Python, R, SQL, Shell scripting) and job scheduling/orchestration tools (Control-M, Airflow).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Strong communication skills, with a pragmatic approach and attention to detail.
