Company: Stealth Company, a private equity fund backed companyIn the process of closing an investment in a multi-site healthcare clinical operation operating in CaliforniaJob Title: Chief Financial Officer Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic financial leader to join our growing, innovative organization as Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in a multi-state healthcare enterprise, have business knowledge of healthcare delivery, have experience with supporting and executing De Novo development and site openings as well as acquisitions and executing post-merger integration of acquired companies. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring the company’s financial strategy meets the operational needs and requirements. The Chief Financial Officer will direct and oversee the financial activities of the corporation, direct and execute the preparation of all financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth for the management team and the Board of Directors. The CFO will report directly to the CEO with a dotted line to the Board of Directors CEO. Initial focus will be on building existing operations to enable future expansion and acquisitions. Location: Primarily on site at one of the multiple California locationsResponsibilities:•Set and execute the financial strategy for company including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting•Supervise the accounting and finance staff and create a strong control function. Close the monthly, quarterly and annual books and manage third party audit in a timely and accurate manner. •Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clinical and administrative staff, to identify and prioritize key performance indicators and tools to help management team and Board run and oversee the business.•Participate as a member of the executive leadership team to achieve the business’ short- and long-term goals. Including integrating a series of Denovo or acquired sites into a common accounting and back-office infrastructure in key functional areas.Duties/Responsibilities:Lead companies accounting and finance functions including managing accounts payables, accounts receivables and other operating finance function (excluding clinical coding and billing). Manage all aspects of the company’s cash flow.Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flow, shareholder reports, tax returns, and annual third-party audit.Provide variance analysis based on sales, referral retention, direct and indirect expense at site and corporate level and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.Coordinate with other functional departments and operating management to support their budgeting, planning, KPI analysis, and other financial needs. Help site and functional managers meet their financial objectives. Serve as part of the diligence team on potential acquisitions and lead post-merger integration efforts including consolidation of financial reporting. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong multisite healthcare services/delivery domain knowledge and experienceExcellent management, supervisory, and execution skills.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education and Experience:Eight to ten years of experience in financial management required.Material experience in healthcare services domain required.Master's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance preferred. Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
