Job Description
Develop new business opportunities focused on Global Forwarding, Customs/Compliance, and Domestic services for customers moving international shipments
Establish a Prospect Target account plan working within target markets and sales management.
Incorporate previous accounts into the network.
Identify decision-makers at target/prospect accounts and establish regular contact.
Negotiate prices and conditions to develop solutions supporting customers' requirements.
Create SOPs required to effectively manage the customers' business.
Collaborate with management to ensure proper account management.
Stay current with market conditions and trends.
Gather and share market intelligence while providing potential and current customer information with Sales and Operational management teams.
Qualifications
7+ years of industry sales experience including vertical market development.
Experience representing and selling U.S. Customs/Compliance services.
Advanced knowledge of logistical and supply chain concepts related to international freight.
The ability to travel to meet customers on a consistent basis.
Willingness to sell global markets connected to company initiatives.
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and motivate others.
Self-motivated to make quick decisions in a constantly changing environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong collaborator with internal support network.
