As a Software Engineering Manager , you will take a hands-on role to design technical approaches, contribute as an individual, and help build our team(s). Being a technical owner for your area or service within our retail service cloud
Identifying and resolving technical challenges, building new features, building and implementing the roadmap/strategy, scaling the platform
Being point of contact, communicating technical details, pushing back requests if needed
Building a team of developers, driving productivity
Replacing legacy code and services and optimizing the stack
Building frameworks for upcoming projects
Triaging tickets for the sprint. Planning product roadmaps
What you bring to the role:
You’re excited to help teams of engineers execute on our product roadmap
You are not afraid to take technical ownership of a product, and takes pride in quality
You like having other senior devs around you that can push you forward by challenging you
Previous frameworks/languages like: TypeScript/JS, React, Node.js , Python, Django
Believes in finding the best solution, not just one that works
You are interested in being at least 50% hands on technical
