Job Overview: A law firm seeks a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney with 1-2 years of experience in discovery and depositions, focusing on professional negligence, transportation, product liability, or real estate-related litigation. Job Duties:
Manage civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.
Conducted legal research and drafted legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex cases.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the State of California.
1-2 years of experience in civil litigation, focusing on professional negligence, transportation, product liability, or real estate-related matters.
Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation tactics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Certifications:
State Bar of California membership in good standing.
