Job Overview: A law firm based in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to assist in handling complex commercial and business litigation cases. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of relevant litigation experience and possess a valid California Bar License.
Duties:
Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice and develop case strategies.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to manage case files and maintain client relationships.
Attend and participate in case strategy meetings and trial preparations.
Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide effective legal counsel.
Assist in resolving legal disputes through negotiation, mediation, and trial proceedings.
Requirements:
2-4 years of relevant experience in commercial and business litigation.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
