Job Description

Our Milpitas team is looking for a detail-oriented Production Control C oordinator to work between customers, production control dept. and scientists to deliver client data in a timely and reliable manner. The Production Control Coordinator will be responsible for proactively meeting the administrative support needs of the Engineering team & their clients.

Schedule:

Thurs-Mon 5pm - 4am (OVERNIGHT SHIFT)

Logs and tracks the receipt and shipment of all samples into and out of the lab.

Labels and stores samples in accordance with documented procedures.

Maintains lab space as clean and organized.

May perform courier duties as necessary to support lab and client needs.

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience supporting multiple departments and sites in a multi-functional fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail; integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.

Experience working in a technical industry is a plus.

Strong customer service focus, highly organized, responsible, and detail oriented.

Work independently under time constraints and handle a multitude of tasks efficiently.

Must have a valid Drivers License.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

Compensation Range : $22-28/per hour with an additional

*shift differential of 10%*

(Pay rate is commensurate with experience and degree of technical expertise.)

Position is subject to ITAR government regulations (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

Physical Requirements:

Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment.

Ability to use a telephone, access file cabinets, receive and ship customer products

Ability to sit for periods of time

Ability to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting

Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)

Ability to lift to 10 lbs.
