YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)
The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordinating and supervising the activities of the count room.

Act as a Supervisor on an as needed basis; opens and closes the slot vault in his/her absence
Make recommendations to the Supervisor for staffing, scheduling, disciplinary action, pay increases and aids in the training of personnel
Assist the Supervisor on a continuous basis in preparing all paperwork pertaining to the Slot Vault operation and enforcing policies, procedures and Gaming Control Board Regulations
Function as a Count Team Member during shift
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, every employee has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations: Attend required training sessions offered by the MGNV
Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee's department
Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance
Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management

MUST HAVE'S
Knowledge of AS/400 computer system, Toshiba CS6600 and CF400 or comparable currency and coin counter/sorter, and 10-key. Knowledge of coin/token and currency equipment and handling operations Knowledge of Gaming Control Board regulations. Knowledge of cashiering or banking operations. This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a minimum of three years cashiering or banking experience, or related experience.
THE WORKING CONDITIONS
Must have ability to: Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and management
Identify different denominations of gaming chips/tokens and currency and quickly count and stock coin/tokens and currency
Retrieve full and empty cash/coin boxes
Move cash/coin boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. and push/pull the drop cart, with assistance, which can weigh up to 2000 pounds
Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction, work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and pet dander/hair
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and maintain physical stamina and mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Use all equipment associated with the position; exposed to moderate noise levels from machinery in count room - ear protection is available
Work around non-toxic chemicals; proper precautions are taken
Read and write numbers to be able to accurately track fills, credit slips, markers, and fill amounts, etc.
