Director of Finance

Description The Director of Finance will be responsible for the following job duties that include but are not limited to the following:
Preserve and maintain all hotel assets and records.
Prepare monthly Income Statements which record all revenues and expenses in the proper period including accruals for anticipated charges.
Prepare or review all monthly Balance Sheet Reports which accurately reflect Assets, Liabilities and Equity.
Timely and accurate recording, filing and payment of all hotel tax obligations.
Promote technological advances and operational efficiencies.
Support Corporate and Task Force requests when possible.
The responsibilities of the Director of Finance include but are not limited to the following:
Coordination and oversight of all hotel financial activity.
Implement and monitor effective policies and procedural controls throughout hotel in compliance with Crescent standards and guidelines.
Provide accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with Crescent guidelines.
Provide financial leadership and mentoring with all key hotel personnel.
Provide timely and well composed forecasts and budgets with the full involvement of the Executive Committee.
The Finance department will fulfill all duties associated with providing a high quality guest experience.
The Director of Finance will communicate on a timely basis to the General Manager of all potential favorable or unfavorable budget or profit exposures or opportunities.
