Job Summary:
The Program Director is responsible for the overall direction of the Staffing Pool operations. Ensures quality and competency of current staff. Develops Strategic plans and sets goals to insure the maximizing of internal labor from the Staffing Pool. Communicates program information to System and Facilities Administrations. Monitors costs, utilization, and deployment of the Staffing Pool and reports data to all stakeholders.
Job Description:
Required to be on-site as needed at various facility locations.
Manage on-site and/or remote staff 24/7.
Develops strategic plans and sets goals to insure the maximizing of pool labor.
Develops/maintains relationships with Administration, staffing personnel from System and all Facilities.
Participates in meetings and presents updates to System and Facility Administration.
Communicates program operations to System/Facility Administration and HWL.
Analyzes Facilities' needs for additional and/or modification of services and incorporates analysis into the marketing/recruitment plan.
Maintains Facility relationships through on site visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provides consistent/accurate statistical data to demonstrate program efficiencies and effectiveness.
Monitors Staffing Program utilization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maximized.
Works collaboratively with Health System recruiters to identify IRP recruiting needs.
Works collaboratively with recruiters to triage, ensure acquisition staff are managed and transitioned appropriately.
Oversees process of identifying missing documents if interview is successful to expedite hiring process.
Make candidate offer, following appropriate guidelines.
Provides staff development and growth opportunities to all key personnel.
Delegates authority, responsibility, and accountability to appropriate personnel.
Participates in annual policies and procedures review and updates.
Supervises the development of job descriptions and competencies for staff.
Serves as a resource in the training and development of staff.
Supervises the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and termination of office staff.
Oversees the orientation, evaluation, and termination of clinical staff.
Promotes customer satisfaction on all issues.
Promotes positive interpersonal and interdepartmental communications.
Oversees the daily operations to ensure integrity of records and data. Develops reengineering processes as necessary.
Analyzes costs, allocation, and utilization.
Analyzes market changes to maintain fair and competitive wage, salary, and bonus incentives.
Reports findings to HWL and System/Facility Leadership.
Implements changes based on analysis. Communicates changes to System and Facility Administration.
Collaboratively works with Facilities to meet compliance requirements.
Supervises operational reports to ensure the integrity of data and submits all required reports to System/Facility Leadership.
Participates in the planning of educational needs for office staff and pool employees.
Oversees the orientation process for new hires.
Manages staff to provide adequate access to educational programs.
Supervises maintenance of required participation of staff.
Ensures Facilities have required employee documentation for regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in nursing or business preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare staffing industry and unit-based hospital workforce.
5+ years in equivalent experience in healthcare management with specific responsibility of hiring clinical staff, evaluating competencies, coordinating with key executive stakeholders.
Strong interviewing skills - detail oriented.
Excellent people skills, with the ability to start, cultivate, and maintain lasting relationships with customers, direct reports, and senior management.
Ability to work collaboratively with software development and technology teams to execute growth and solve problems.
**Salary $90,000-$110,000 annually**
