We have recently finalised a 5-year, strategic plan that will require a step up in our ability to deliver technology change at pace. In order to enable this, we are transforming our Technology and Delivery departments, improving our ability to deliver integrations quickly and efficiently.
The National Retail Director will drive client warranty sales within client branches, by working directly with retail client management teams and individuals to improve sales conversion. This role will require a close working relationship with both the internal D&G training team and Client Team to achieve sales goals. To be the face of D&G with the branches and build trust and rapport along with commercial plans for branches
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop, maintain and drive long term relationships with client branches
* Create and interpret branch level MI to assess areas for opportunity
* Work with client and D&G internal teams to develop individual performance plans for branches
* Raise the profile of D&G with clients at both senior and junior levels.
* Support the new business budget process
* Deliver new business solutions
* Analyse and report on business performance
* Help create and deliver new initiatives which help generate growth
* Liaise with all relevant D&G functions to ensure projects and activities are collaborative
* To assist the Client Management team with any projects/ tasks
**Key Skills:**
* Drive compliant sales and sales performance plans
* Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage a successful negotiation process
* The ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and also be able to Influence others
* Ideally possess a good understanding on the mechanism of extended warranty, in terms of the proposition including pricing, service delivery, customer benefits, client benefits etc
* A good understanding of retail sales
* Strategic planning experience
* New business focused
* Interpersonal and communication .
* The ability to negotiate and close deals
* The flexibility to accommodate different requests.
