The Marketing Manager will be part of the energy marketing account services team and will work on planning, development, and implementation of marketing and advertising strategies and communications activities to support our energy efficiency efforts based in MD/Virginia. The account services team conducts all aspects of marketing to include advertising, strategic planning, research, social media, events, outreach, and partnerships. To implement marketing campaigns, the team works with a 150-person creative and media services group. We help our clients and communities use less energy, save money, and help the environment through the development, implementation and refinement of marketing and outreach initiatives. This position will be remote, with some local travel to Reston, VA office and client site in VA. About ICF's Advertising and Marketing Capabilities:
Our Marketing team is made up of more than 1,700 communications professionals. Within this team, is a marketing account services team who support energy clients through marketing strategy, advertising, and other marketing services to promote energy solutions, with a primary focus on energy efficiency. What you will be doing: Managing the marketing, advertising of residential energy efficiency programs in the Virginia/DC/MD area.
Working as client lead to develop and implement marketing and communications plans after client approval, to educate customers about energy efficiency and drive participation in energy efficiency programs.
Working with ICF Creative services team to fulfill the development of marketing materials including advertising campaigns (both direct response and awareness), TV, digital and social media, POP materials, web sites, direct mailers, brochures, incentive applications forms, email and direct mail campaigns, video, print, outdoor, etc.
Working with the ICF Media Services team to develop, propose, and implement vertical marketing and advertising campaigns, coordinating the deployment of integrated outreach campaigns across broadcast, print, online, social media, events, etc.
Leading the review and approval process for marketing materials, including working across the organization to deploy efforts (IT, program management, client).
Developing project budgets and revenue forecasts and managing project budgets.
Managing direct and indirect report(s).
Preparing monthly reports on activities and results of the marketing program and presenting to clients.
Developing and executing business growth strategies, including marketing to potential clients, and responding to RFPs.
Travel to Reston, VA less than 10%
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
5+ years of working experience in marketing, advertising, social marketing, or related field, particularly experience working in consumer marketing at an advertising agency or consulting firm.
OR 9+ years of working experience in marketing, advertising, social marketing, or related field, particularly experience working in consumer marketing at an advertising agency or consulting firm.
What we would like you to have: Business-to-consumer and/ or B2B marketing and/or energy marketing experience
Working in an advertising agency and/or on a consumer marketing account.
Experience driving results through marketing.
Developing and implementing marketing communications plans, with the ability to manage and execute advertising, collateral development, digital and social media projects.
Managing creative teams in production of various advertising assets.
Experience working in CRM and marketing automation platforms
Interest in and commitment to energy efficiency, the environment, and sustainable living.
Professional Skills: Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
History of positive client relationships.
Creative thinker with a positive attitude who enjoys a challenge and finding solutions.
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
Ability to work independently, seek help as needed and contribute to team and company culture.
Experience in financial management and ability to effectively leverage a marketing budget for maximum effectiveness.
Working knowledge of computer and online tools, including MS Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social networking sites
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Working in a multi-tasking environment.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $76,848.00 - $130,642.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
